UiB's Common Student System (FS) is the University of Bergen's student administration system. The system is developed by USIT, University of Oslo, and is used by all universities and most colleges in Norway.

In the menu you will find information about the organization of work with FS at UiB, how to proceed to become a user of FS, how to get support and courses are planned. You can also find documentation (user templates and materials).

Please note that it is the administration at UiB that uses FS. All administrative personnel are expected to be familiar with Norwegian. As a consequence, much of the user-information on these pages have no been translated.

In order to have access, you must obtain a general account on the University's IT systems, and fill out the forms: "Declaration of confidentiality" and "Application for access to shared administrative systems at the University of Bergen"

Please contact Division of study information and system management, Kurt Rysjedal,Nygårdsgaten 5, for further information.
